A city known for its beaches and water-based attractions will surely have a variety of entertainment for the water lovers. Popular among these are the marine parks and aquariums. Here are some of those places which will surely awaken the child in you.

Mundomar marine park is a must visit in Benidorm. Holidaymakers can visit the animals of marine life at MundoMar. The name itself means "the World of Sea". It is one of the greatest attractions in Benidorm where visitors can see dolphins, seals, sea-lions and exotic birds.


Another park worth a see is the Oceanografic or L'Oceanogrāfic in Valencia, which is 140 kilometers from Benidorm.It is the biggest aquarium in Valencia, containing thousands of species of underwater flora and fauna, including sharks and dolphins. It is located within an 110,000 square meters of surface and a volume of 42 million litres of water at the City of Arts and Sciences.

This place will surely leave you awestruck. Some of the must do activities here are; Animalia Passport, getting to know the dolphins and the sea lions; Sleep with the Sharks, sleeping within an area surrounded with sharks, an after supper activity especially for the kids; Oceanográfico Cources or getting to know sharks, turtles, sea mammals, and marine biology; Trainer for a Day or getting to have a chance to learn how to train the mammals;

Oceanogrāfic's Technical Gallery, which is a visit to the veterinary clinic and technical gallery and Penguin Encounter or a visit to the bird hatchery and rearing area.

The Terra Mitica Fun Park is considered the largest, most exciting theme park in Europe, with incredible rides and shows all around the park. Here you will find pirates, gladiators and comic street performers, all of who add to fun. Another fun addition to the park is the evening shows.
