Terra Mitica theme park in Bennidorm is an adventure & fun through the ages with some thrilling rides along the way. It is one of the most popular theme parks in Benidorm.

Terra Mitica’s theme is ‘ancient world’ with variety of rides and roller coasters. Terra Mitica is located 43 km. from Alicante, 465 km from Madrid, 483 km from Barcelona, 650 km from Valladolid and 627 km from Seville.

Visitors are able to experience and discover all what’s hidden on the Mediterranean shores of Egypt, Greece, Rome and the Islands with thousands of years converted into moments of fun, emotion and adrenalin in Terra Mitica.

Attractions at Terra Mitica include looping coasters, rides for adults and children, temples opened for the most adventurous, and many surprises. This is a theme park that can easily rival with some of the best in the world, with entertainment for young and old, restaurants, shops, and much more.

As for spectacular shows in Terra Mitica; there are more than 35 daily shows such as Red Beard, street animation, gladiators, acrobats and more are represented in open air or prepared places for special scenic tricks. The four Mediterranean civilizations with an extraordinary climate and thousands of stories, myths and legends to relate, cohabitate will sure fascinate the visitors.

As for shops in Terra Mitica; the souvenir shops offer numerous gifts such as bags, presents, T-shirts, teddy bears and more. The papyrus and resin goddess’ directly imported from Egypt, kurois and kurais statues from Greece, statues from the Islands, Iberian orange blossom perfumed candles, clay and terra sigillate amphora’s from Rome are some of the most popular shopping items in Terra Mitica.

ROME
Rome is dominated by Magnus Colossus, the longest wooden roller coaster in Europe which reaches speeds of 100 kph and has hairpin bends and hair-raising drops. Equally gut-wrenching, The Flight of the Phoenix has a 100kph burst of acceleration during a spectacular 54 m free fall.

Finally the aptly named Inferno – Europe's first ball coaster – will spin you up, down and around at thrill-a-minute velocity. Ayquesustus is the kiddies version of the Phoenix, which along with Vertigum, Torbellinus, Tentaculus, Serpentinum and Rotundus give the youngsters the opportunity to sample all the fun of the fair at a gentle pace.

IBERIA
The looping roller coaster Tizona is Iberia's main breath-taking attraction with bends, twists, turns and vertical drops guaranteed to turn your knuckles snow white. All the family can enjoy driving Spanish style on the Arietes dodgem cars and junior drivers can hone their crashing skills on Jabato, the mini-dodgems styled like cute animals.

TERRA MITICA SHOWS
See the pomp and splendour of the five ancient civilisations of the Mediterranean as their myths and legends are played out in spectacular arenas or on the streets of the towns. Acrobats, circus artists, athletes and stuntmen all create a thrill-a-minute spectacle of colour, action and excitement in the many daily shows where you, the public, are always the stars.

OPENING TIMES:
