Overview
Museo Guggenheim is the symbol of the
Bilbao city. A must see.
Once the museum is constructed
in 1997, Bilbao city have become an
attractive city for the visitors. The museum
is gorgeous with its shining titanium roof
and futurist architecture and it transformed
the Basque city of Bilbao into a modern
tourist destination.
What to
See
There
are 19 galleries spread through the 3 floors
of the building. The Guggenheim collections
which are famous in New York and Venice and
the works of various artists are exhibited
at the museum. There are also a library,
cafes and a shop at the museum.
Visiting the
Museo de Bellas Artes (Museum of Fine
Arts) in Bilbao is also recommended for the
travelers. You may see the Spanish classics
there, such as El Greco, Goya, Velazquez
etc.
