Overview
Denia is is the district capital of La Marina Alta and a popular tourist destination located on the northern end of the Costa Blanca.

Denia is a spectacular town with a picturesque local road that passes between Cape San Antonio and the impressive mass of Mt. Montgó.

Things to Do & See in Denia
The historical origins of the town can be seen an the archaeological museum of Denia that is housed in the well preserved Moorish castle on the top a small hill.

The Denia Castle is one of the greatest sights in the Town.

The 20 km. coastline of Denia has fine sand to the north (Les Marines) and rock and cliff-face to the south (Les Rotes). Denia beach is a nice one for the beach goers.

Denia is also popular for its golf courses, sports clubs and marinas.

The Montgo Mountain Nature Park is located above the towns of Javea and Denia and has an altitude of 753 meters. The fauna and flora is great with over 600 species.

The Pego-Oliva Marshlands Nature Park along Denia is located in a wetland between the mountains of Segaria and Mustalla. The region is great with its wide range of plant species and animals. Also there is a thermal hot spring in Font Salada worth a visit.
