Things to Do & See in Denia
Javea is located in the shelter of its Gothic-style San Bartolomé fortress and
church. There beautiful town houses, decorated with wrought-iron grilles and
lintels made of “tosca”, the typical local stone at the Old Quarter.
At the port area, the modern Church of La Virgen del Loreto may be visited.
In Javea, there are numerous beaches along the 20 km. of coastline. The
fine sandy El Arenal beach, pine woods, rock and scuba-diving at Granadella,
tiny coves at Portichol and more are the popular attracitons for the
