There are numerous
Costa Brava beaches with boards for hire and specialized instructors, where visitors are able to take windsurfing lessons.

The bay of Roses and the bay of Pals are the best windsurfing locations with its long stretch of sand and regular presence of waves.

The dune sand beaches of
Sant Pere Pescador stretches over more than six kilometres and it is one of Europe's most famous water skiing centers. Those specialties make Sant Pere Pescador a popular destination for water sports worldwide. The World Windsurfing Championship is held in Sant Pere Pescador annually.

Platja d'Aro is one of the most popular and leading holidays resorts in Costa Brava located on the mid-coasts. The long sandy beaches are also very suitable for variety of water sports.

Sailing, Snorkelling, Banana boat, Water skiing, Scuba diving, Windsurfing / Surfing, Kayaking, Cruisers, Charter boats are also other water sports activities for the visitors in
L'Estartit.

Caminos de ronda is the term for strolling or short rambling by the sea. Costa Brava offers the best ones.
