Costa Calida has a stretch of 250 km. of Murcian coastline from the beach of Carolina in Aguilas a few kilometers from the province of Almería, to the beach of El Mojón on the boundary with Alicante, on the south east side of Spain.

Costa Calida is shared by the two seas that include the Mar Menor which is considered to be the largest natural pool in the world and a paradise for all types of water sports; and the Mediterranean Sea with its beautiful fine sandy beaches.
La Manga del Mar Menor, which is a popular tourist resorts on the Mediterranean. La Manga offers great opportunities for the holidaymakers and swimmers at its two seas that include; the warm waters of the Mar Menor, Cala del Pino, El Galán or El Pedruchillo on one side and the open waters of the Mediterranean sea with the beaches of Punta del Estacio, Ensenada del Esparto, and Galúa on the other side.

Cavanna Beach in La Manga del Mar Menor, Cartagena; Puerto de Mazarrón beach in Mazorron, La Puntica beach (Lo Pagan) in Lo Pagán, San Pedro del Pinatar and Las Delicias beach in Aguilas are the popular and best beaches in Costa Calida.

La Manga is a town beach with many leisure activities such as boat hire, children’s play areas and beach bars.

In Puerto de Mazarrón beach in Mazarron there is a lighthouse with views of the entire coastline. The beach is a great place for scuba-diving with several clubs.

In La Puntica beach (Lo Pagan) in Lo Pogan; water sports such as sailing, windsurfing, canoeing are popular. It has a wide variety of services, such as open-air bars, showers and restaurants.

The Las Delicias Beach in Aguilas has a pleasant promenade with palm trees. On one side of the beach there are rocks and on the other side there are spectacular views of the castle of San Juan de Águilas. The beach is popular for windsurfing and playing beach-volley.

From Cabo de Palos to Aguilas, the Murcian coast becomes a succession of cliffs and offer great beauties in the company of solitary coves with turquoise waters. Aguilas boasts extensive solitary beaches of La Higuerica, La Carolina and Calabardina.
