Costa de Almeria coasts.
Typical menu at the tapas bars include small
fish, meat, rice and salad dishes and a beer or a wine. The restaurants
also offer great tastes. Seafood dishes are the most popular ones.
As for the
desserts, fresh fruit and sweets with a distinctly Arab flavour are popular.
Inlands are popular with their migas con tropezones (bread sautéed with
garlic and meat), gurullos con conejos (a species of doughballs with rabbit),
cocido de trigo (wheat potage), ajo colorao (cod and potato cooked in garlic,
peppers and paprika), ajipán (garlic bread), sausage and free-range meat. .
