Culture & Art in Costa del Sol


Costa del Sol has all the cultural and art manifestations in its inlands and coasts.

Music is an important cultural activity of the region. Live music by by well-known singers take place almost in every fair and event. The most popular cultural music festivals in Costa del Sol include;

  • Flamenco Festival of Mijas in July

  • Festival Flamenco de lo Rancio in Ronda in August

  • Flamenco Festival in Ojén in August

  • Feria of Málaga in August

Málaga displays a wonderful and lively array of color and the townsfolk’s participation during its “Ferias”. The typical folklore is a must to visit and see.

When it comes to concerts, there are numerous of them during the year. The most popular ones include; Bands of Music in spring, Andalusian Artists in August, Young Music in fall and Young Artists in winter. All have an active musical program for all tastes.
