Tarragona, Cambrils, La Pineda, Salou, Sitges, PortAventura and the Ebro Delta are the must visit towns and places. In addition the world famous city of Barcelona is only a couple of hours away with a good transportation opportunities.

As for leisure activities and entertainment in Costa Dorada; The Costa Dorada is the site of the Universal's
PortAventura Theme Park that is the second largest in Europe with more than 30 attractions. In addition, the Aqualeón Aquatic park in Albinyana, the Aquopolis Aquatic Park in La Pineda and a small zoo of Pescador Park in Cambrils are the other attractions.

Aqua Leon in Albinyana, Tarragona and it is the only safari and water park in Europe. It has a great recreational area with a nature inspired theme. The aqua park mixes water and wildlife and offers a large aquatic park, safaris, and wildlife exhibitions.

As for sports in Costa Dorada;
The climate and beautiful nature offer all kind of outdoor and water sports in Costa Dorada. On the coasts it is possible to find variety of water sports such as windsurfing, surfing, water skiing, scuba diving, canoeing and jet skiing at the many water sports centers. The big sandy coastline of Salou with small rocky coves is very ideal for various maritime activities. The 3,5 km. sandy beach of Salou is is known as "the beach of Europe".

Hiking is the most popular outdoor sports in whole Catalonia. And the Tarragona region is one of the best with its intriguing landscapes. Hiking and nature walk lovers may follow the GR (long distances) with routes of more than 50 km. either through the coast or inland, or the PR (short distances) with routes ranging from 10 to 50 km.

Also the mountain area in
Costa Dorada is ideal for horseback riding or bicycle tours, mountain climbing on Montsant or through the mountain passes of Tortosa-Beseit. Facilities may be found in the Ebro Delta.

Costa Dorada also offer great opportunities for the golf lovers. There are lots of quality golf courses in the area.

As for the culture & art activities;
The National Archeological Museum of Tarragona (with an important collection from the Roman era), the Museum of Roman History of Tarragona and the massive Roman Praetorium and Roman Circus, the Diocesan Museum in the cloister of the Cathedral, the Museum of Modern Art and the House-Museum Castellarnau are worth to visit. The ancient mosaics at the Roman villa of Centcelles is a must.
