Overview
Costa Valencia is situated situated in the centre of the Spanish Mediterranean coastline overlooking the Gulf of Valencia and lined up with a group of high mountains and rolling plains leading to Aragon and Castile-La Mancha. This Valencia region is also important with its proximity to Madrid, Barcelona and the Balearic Islands.

Valencia is the most important city of the region with its tourist attractions, cultural wealth, accommodation opportunities, fine beaches, nature reserves, fiestas and rich gastronomy. Holidays in the Costa Valencia has great opportunities for the tourists with a wide range of hotels, hostels, apartments, and holiday rentals that the region is capable of receiving a large number of tourists every season.

The north coast of Valencia is the closest to the capital. La Pobla de Farnals, El Puig and Sagunto are the popular holiday towns and places to visit and see together with the beautiful Malvarossa beach.

From Valencia to Cullera to the south; El Saler, El Palmar, Perelló, Perellonet, Sueca and Cullera are the popular holiday towns and places to visit and see together with the Natural Park of Albufera.

The nightlife in Costa Valencia is great. The Province of Valencia is famous for its discos and bars that where the music plays until dawn. Most of the discos and bars are located on the outskirts of the city and on the Valencia-Cullera road.

Sports and Golf
There are wide range of sports facilities in Costa Valencia for the visitors to choose from. The traditional sport of Valencian pelota is also popular. Golf in Costa Valencia is also have a remarkable place. There are numerous opportunities for the golf lovers. The El Saler Golf Course, the Oliva Nova Golf Course in Olivia; L’Escorpion, in Betera; Manises and El Bosque in Chiva are some of the popular golf cources in Costa Valencia. Hiking, trekking, cycling, canoeing, horseback riding, gliding and paragliding are also amongst the popular outdoor activities in Costa Valencia.

Ports and Nautical Sports
Costa Valencia offer numerous opportunities for leisure and sport with its 112 kilometers of coastline. Nautical sports are remarkable all along the shoreline. The nautical sports centers from north to south include; Canet d’en Berenguer, Pobla de Farnals, Port Saplaya (residential estate), Real Club naútico de Valencia, El Perelló, Cullera and Gandía et Oliva.

Cuisine ~ Eat & Drink
Costa Valencia offer tasty dishes to its visitors. The Valencian paella that is made with rice, chicken, rabbit and greens is the typical dish in the Valencian cuisine. Each town has its own variations of paella with different ingredients. The most popular specialties are the meat paella with chicken or rabbit, the seafood paella and the mixed paella. Arroz a banda is a famous dish that the rice and the fish are cooked separately and served with garlic and oil. In the region of La Safor fideuà is a famous dish that noodles are used with seafood instead of rice. In the inland regions the popular dish is gazpacho that is a cold soup of bread, tomatoes, garlic, salt, vinegar and oil and served in the form of a shepherd’s tart made of wheat flour and cooked over the fire. In Los Serranos, olla churra that is made from pieces of pork and black pudding is a favorite dish. As for the meat, the lamb chops that are cooked over the fire together with varieties of sausage such as longaniza, black pudding and chorizo is popular. Fried chicken and rabbit garnished with tomato sauce with the popular hervido that is a dish of green beans cooked with potatoes and served with an oil and vinegar dressing is also popular. Valencia is also popular with its tasty sweetmeats and bakery products. As for drinks, orgeat (horchata) is a popular one that is made from earth almonds and aqua de Valencia that is a natural orange juice mixed with cava (Catalonian wine similar to champagne). The wines of the region are also remarkable. The main wine cellars can be found in Requena, Utiel, Llíria, Villar del Arzobispo and Tuéjar. Quality cava is also made in Requena.

Leisure and Culture
In Valencia there are numerous museums and art galleries that hold permanent exhibitions to visit and experience. Palau de la Música is the brightest spot with its music chambers and good number of theatres. Valencia offers a wide selection of cultural activities and performing arts to its visitors. The City of the Arts and Sciences in Valencia is the best spot for leisure activities and entertainment in Valencia. The complex include L’Hemisteric, Museo de les Ciencies (the Science Museum), Palau de les Arts (the Arts Palace), L’Oceanographic (the Oceanography Museum) and L’Umbrale.

Weather in Costa Valencia
Costa Valencia has a wonderful weather with mild winters and hot summers. The climate of the region is great with a temperature of 24º in summer and 10º in winter.
