Formentera Off The Beaten Track

Formentera is famous for its its fine sandy beaches and splendid scenery. The island is considered as the last bastion of earthly paradise on the Mediterranean. Besides its beaches and crystal clear waters, if you go off the beaten track, you may also discover and enjoy beautiful landscapes, rock formations, villages, lighthouses, lakes, towers, caves and caverns of the island.

Estany des Peix Lagoon   La Mola Lighthouse

Estany des Peix is a small lagoon & lake having a narrow opening to the sea. Small boats are able to anchor here. The lagoon has stretches of beach that the visitors may swim and enjoy variety of water sports such as windsurfing, kayaking and sailing. The nature is great here.


La Mola Lighthouse has one of the best landscapes of the island. The lighthouse is situated on the highest point of Formentera on the west and it is a guide for many sailor. The spectacular views of the island and the Mediterranean by the cliffs is excellent.

Cap de Barbaria & Lighthouse   Punta de Sa Pedrera

Cap de Barbaria and the lighthouse is a great location offers spectacular views. The region is located on a beautiful area formed by rocks on the south of the island. Walking around the region, enjoying the nature & landscape and watching the sunset at the lighthouse is a must.


Punta Pedrera is a heavenly place where unusual rock formations make up a desert of stone known as Sa Pedrera where it meets the sea and make natural swimming pools. The views and cliffs cut by magnificent half submerged caves is outstanding. Also visitors are able to have a complete view of Ibiza.

Estany Pudent Lake   Es Calo of San Agusti

Estany Pudent is a beautiful lake located on the north of the island between La Savina and Es Pujols. Walking and cycling around the lake, bird watching and enjoying the beautiful scenery are the best attractions at the region.


Es Calo is a small and lovely village where the visitors are able to enjoy the seafaring surroundings. There is a unique natural harbor and several lovely restaurants worth a visit. The coves in the region are also great.
