Entertainment & Nightlife in Formentera

As for nightlife in Formentera; Formentera is more the lively Formentera nightlife can be enjoyed after a relaxing day at one of the idyllic beaches. A peaceful evening meal may be enjoyed at the numerous Formentera restaurants in the company of magnificent sunset and nature.

Es Pujols is the perfect place for nightlife in Formentera as it is the largest resort on the Playa de Llevant. Holidaymakers may enjoy the beautiful environment and find all kind of services such as accommodation, shopping, cafes, bars and restaurants in Es Pujols. Visitors are able to enjoy wide range of Formentera cuisine at the numerous Es Pujols restaurants.

As for music; it is possible to enjoy variety of musicians and bands at the village squares on the many festivals of Formentera during the year.

Popular festivals in Formentera include; Saint John's Day on 24 June; Saint James's Day on 25 July; Saint Mary's Day on 5 August; Day of the Virgin of Carmen on 16 July; Saint Ferdinand on 30 May; Day of the Virgin of Pilar on 12 October and Saint Francis Xavier on 3 December.


As for leisure activities and entertainment at the Formentera towns; San Francesc is the main town on the island and is home to many festivals. Visitors may find variety of shops, cafes and bars in the town. San Ferran is a small town with historical bars and an lively nightlife. Night time activities take place in the church square of the town. Es Pujols is the most popular and touristic town and also the perfect place for nightlife in Formentera located just by the beach front. There are variety of beach bars, restaurants, cafes and clubs for the visitors to enjoy the great nightlife in Formentera. And finally the La Mola area is the place to visit and enjoy the weekly hippy market and the magnificent landscape at the lighthouse.
