International Kite Festival is one of the
most popular festivals in the Dunas de Corralejo
Natural Park, on the north-east of
Fuerteventura. Festival take place annually on
the 2nd weekend of November for three days. The
popularity of the festival made it a worldwide
famous event in Fuerteventura. One of the best
things to do in Fuerteventura.
The festival area is over 2,500 hectares of sand
dunes. The dunes form the natural park of Dunas de
Corralejo.
Kite festival is very attractive and charming with
the participation of the kite flyers from all over
the world. The environment is colorful and
magnificent with hundreds of kites flying above the
island.
