 Windsurfing and kitesurfing in Playa de Sotavento is
a must. Every July and August, the World Windsurf
Championship is held on the Sotavento beaches.
There are various land and sea tours for the island.
Participating to an island tour is the best way to
discover the island. Besides the island tours, there
numerous excursions to take. Jeep safaris, camel
safaris, dolphin safaris, submarine safaris,
cruising to Lobos Island, daily cruise to Lanzarote,
horseback riding and waterparks are the popular
excursions.
As for eating out in Fuerteventura; there are plenty
of restaurants and food styles in Fuerteventura.
Corralejo is the best place for dining with its
great restaurants.
As for the entertainment & nightlife; There are
three main places for
nightlife in Fuerteventura.
Corralejo, Caleta de Fuste and Morro Jable...
Corralejo is the mainland of the nightlife in
Fuerteventura with lots of clubs, night parties,
pubs, discos, bars etc. Caleta de Fuste and Morro
Jable are reatively calm and cheaper than Corralejo,
Corralejo hotels.
As for the shopping in Fuerteventura; there are not
so big shopping places in Fuerteventura. The only
shopping center to be considered as big in
Fuerteventura is Las Rotondas in Puerto del Rosario.
There are small supermarkets, bazaars, and other
shops that you can buy your needs on your
