Transportation in Fuerteventura

Fuerteventura is the second largest and the
longest of the Canary Islands
that stands 60 miles (about 100
km.) from the coast of North
Africa and situated just on the
south of Lanzarote.
As for transportation in the
island; Fuerteventura has
excellent roads that allows the
travelers to cover the island
from one end to the other in
just 90 minutes.
Fuerteventura has three main
ports that include Puerto del
Rosario, Corralejo and Morro
Jable. Corralejo, on the north,
provides transportation to
Lanzarote and Lobos Island.
Puerto del Rosario runs services
to Gran Canaria and Tenerife.
There are also regular ferries
between the Canary Islands of
Gran Canaria, Tenerife and
Fuerteventura.
As for touring the island;
Fuerteventura rent a car or book
a seat on an organized trip at
any travel agency or hotel is
