Crocodile Park (Cocodrilo Park) in
Gran Canaria began operations in 1988 when it
was first a house for a few kinds of crocodiles. It
is located at Carretera Gral Los Coralillos -
Agüimes. Today, the park is celebrated as the
biggest place where crocodile of diffident sorts can
be found. One of the best
things to do in Gran Canaria.
Apart from the crocodile, other animals have been
incorporated into the arena for tourists’ delight.
Other features there include tropical and Canarian
fish, spider house, jaguars, camels and the pygmy
goats. It is interesting to get there around 12pm,
2pm or 4:00pm when the crocodiles are being fed.
Crocodiles available at the park are of all ages so
science students can also take time to observe very
closely how they grow and develop.
