Shopping in Ibiza - What to Buy?

Shopping in Ibiza is exciting. Ibiza is famous for its nice shops & markets and craftworks carved in cosmopolitan and multicultural character.

Every Ibiza market constitutes an outstanding bazaar of surprises where holidaymakers will find wide range of clothes, jewellery, artwork, musical instruments, antiques, natural juices and delicious cakes as well as variety of objects from all over the world.

The main markets and shops in Ibiza include;

  • Las Dalias - located near Sant Carles in Santa Eularia; every Saturday and open all year round. Las Dalias also holds a traditional Christmas market and also on Monday evenings it holds a craft market with jewellery, pottery and decorative object all year round.

  • Punta Arabi (The Hippy Market) - located at Es Canar in Santa Eularia; open every Wednesday from April to October

  • Sant Miquel - located at the town center; open every Thursday during summer

During summer, there are even more markets spread through the island.

  • Ibiza Old Town visitors are able to find variety of shops and stalls offering gifts, handmade goods and fashion items & products in the Dalt Vila, La Marina and Av.Bartelome Rosello.

  • San Antonio visitors are able to find variety of shops and stalls offering craftworks and gifts in the Seafront Ses Font.

  • Santa Eularia visitors are able to visit and enjoy the artisans' stalls that are set up everyday in summer in the S'Alamera Walk.

In addition to the markets, there are also two craftwork fairs organized in Ibiza that include the "Plaša d'Art" which is held during Easter Week and the "Sa Tador" at the end of September in the Vara de Rey Square in Ibiza Old Town.

For the ones who want to experience the potters of the island, they should visit the "Zone of crafwork interest" in Sant Rafael that is located 8 km. from San Antonio and close to the Ibiza Town.
