Museums & Art Galleries in Madrid

 

Madrid has over 50 museums and art galleries. The world famous three great art galleries are the Prado Museum, Centro de Arte Reina Sofía National Museum and Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum.

Below are the popular museums and art centers of Madrid worth a visit. Note that museums and art galleries are open from Tuesday to Saturday in the mornings and afternoons. On Sundays and Public Holidays they are open only in the mornings.
