Overview
Majorca (Mallorca
) is a charming island hosting the perfect deep blue Mediterranean and 350 miles of clear coastlines. It is the biggest among the spectacular Balearic Islands and also Europe's busiest holiday island and one of the best entertainment center as with more than 300 days of sunshine. Majorca can also be considered as Ibiza's smart sister. Majorca attracts millions of visitors year after year. The official languages in Majorca are Spanish and Catalan. Majorca is the right place to choose for a perfect Mediterranean holiday.

Things to Do and See
Things to do in Majorca is endless. Palma is the beautiful capital of the island worthy of its spectacular beaches and bays. It is a great weekend city break destination. La Seu Cathedral is the most impressive monument in Palma. Palma Aquarium is also a must see attraction.

Magaluf is a must see. When you come to Magaluf, it may be seem like you are in an English land. Sóller is a pretty coastal village worth seeing. You may participate to inexpensive boat trips through the wonderful bays. In the northeastern coasts of Mallorca, lies the sweeping bays of Alcúdia and Pollença which are Majorca’s main holiday resorts and tourist destinations. The bay from Alcudia to C'an Picafort has the best big beach with golden sand. Beaches in Pollença on the north end of the island are a bit windy but the facilities around the region are excellent. If you like natural beauties, Serra de Tramuntana and Cap de Formentor are just for you to visit. Serra de Tramuntana is a touristic mountain and Cap de Formentor is a river which flows between the mountains. You may also experience fabulous Majorca beaches.

If you like to have fun at the waterparks then Marineland located in Gracillaso de la Vega, Aqualand Majorca and Western Park are the popular water parks for your kids.

Nightlife
Nightlife in southern part of Majorca is considerably slow and mostly full of cultural activities. But nightlife in northern part of Majorca is very exciting, energetic and full of fun. There are hundreds of bars and night clubs in Palma. Palma's nightlife centered around the Passeig Marítim. In
Magaluf, after dark, everybody go wild in a frenzy of football shirts, heavy drinking and holiday romances. And after midnight, the venue BCM Planet Dance, which is the biggest club in Majorca, attracts the holiday makers for great nightlife activities.

When it comes to dining and wining in Majorca, you'll be fascinated for sure. You may try any Spanish Tapas Bar worthy of its name with variety of tasty food such as pickles on cocktail sticks, homely omelets, cheeses and hams, baby earthenware casseroles with sizzling hot dishes and elegant mayonnaise-topped mouthfuls.

Shopping has a single meaning in Majorca : Passeig d'es Born. It is the greatest and the biggest shopping center in Majorca.
Palma is a great place to come shopping with its quality boutiques, designer shops and cheap stores. Majorca is also popular for its leather and footwear industry.
