About Menorca
Menorca, also known as Minorca is the farthest island of the Balearic Islands to the Spain mainland. Menorca is a wonderful beach holiday destination worthy of its fantastic golden sandy beaches, beautiful coves, pine tree settings, spectacular coast lines, gastronomy, wide range of water sports and outdoor sports and horses.

Popular Holiday Towns to Visit and See in Menorca

Ciutadella in the west and Mahon (Maó) in the east are the tow main cities of Menorca. Ciutadella (Ciudadela) is a great historical city. It is Menorca’s former capital and an ideal base camp for variety of excursions. 

 

Mao is nowadays a bustling cosmopolitan city. Around the coasts, the natural harbor around Maó worth visiting as well as the Binibèquer Vell and Cala en Porter residential developments. And also the town of Fornells on the northern coasts.

On the inlands, Alaior, es Mercadal and Mount Toro are the nicest places to visit and see. Ferreries is a lovely village situated between Ciutella and Mao.

Cala Galdana is Ferreries’ most popular holiday resort that extends into the Ciutadella municipal area. The coasts along the river mouth by the Algendar Barranco has the most popular and famous beaches in Menorca.

Binibèquer Vell
is one of the most famous beach holiday resort on the Sant Lluís coast. Nearby are the beautiful beaches of Binisafúa, Binidalí, Biniparratx and Cala Torret. Es Castell and Cala en Porter is one of the most famous and popular beaches along the southern coast of Menorca. It is also a popular and major resort and residential area. There is cave which was converted to a nightclub of  Cova den Xoroi among the high cliffs. The authentic fishing village of Fornells is preferred for its water sports, fishing, fantastic food and its being pace and quiet.
