Tenerife, lying opposite the west coast of
Africa, is part of the Canarian archipelago in the
Atlantic Ocean. Tenerife stands on a four hours
flight from the Northern Europe and just 300
kilometers from the African coast.
As for island hopping; it is very easy to reach the
rest of the Canary islands from Tenerife by plane,
ferry or jetfoil.
La Gomera and Grand Canaria has the best services
that both are reached by sea in less than one and a
half hours. A daily excursion is highly recommended.
