Best Restaurants In Cala Millor

If you are planning a holiday, it is good to have done some research on where you are going so you feel prepared and have a bit of a “heads up” on your destination. It is also a plus to know before you go where the best places to visit, the best places to shop and especially the best places to eat are.

In Cala Millor, a popular resort setting on the Spanish island of Mallorca, there are countless places to dine, snack and drink, in just about every taste style available. It is practically guaranteed that you will find a place that your taste buds love, from traditional English fare to Chinese food (and yes, you can find traditional Spanish dishes there, too). The following are some of the top rated restaurants in Cala Millor based on previous visitors to the city.

BON GUST TAPAS BAR

Bon Gust serves tapas dishes at very sensible prices. This is a perfect place to try when you are busy doing other things, as the servings aren’t so big that you feel sludgy and sleepy as if you ate a huge meal.

MON BIJOU

This restaurant stands apart from regular “touristy” places to eat. Dishes on their menu consist of lobster, monkfish saltimbocca, and goat’s cheese crostinis created by their French chef have gotten rave reviews from diners. This is a great place to dine if you get a sitter for your kids and want to have a romantic night out. The price range is varied and wine is on offer.

CHEERS

Stopping in here to eat you’ll feel like you’re visiting a British restaurant or café. There is a choice of over 20 specials daily. Cheers offers light snacks and a full menu that includes Wednesday and Sunday British roasts. There is also a full bar.

LA SANGRIA

Known for a very friendly staff and desirable location, La Sangria serves primarily Italian fare, but there is a mixture of food to choose from on the menu, including Spanish dishes. Located on a main road, many diners have said this restaurant is the perfect place to leisurely eat and drink while watching all the people walk by.

JIMMY’S

If you are looking for a great place to stop for lunch, Jimmy’s offers up traditional Mallorcan cuisine that is well liked by locals and tourists alike. The Paella is highly recommended, but beware that some dishes are created with native rabbit and snails (you can always ask for your dish without them).

In addition to the above mentioned restaurants, you can find Chinese takeaways, fast food chain restaurants, and local grocery stores to peruse through.

You will definitely not go hungry with all the choices and options available in Cala Millor. Enjoy!
