Costa del Sol is the region situated on the south of Spain, in the community of Andalusia, and it is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Spain with its 150 miles of coastline.  Costa del Sol means "Sun Coast" or "Coast of the Sun". Puerto Banús is one of most impressive leisure marinas on the Mediterranean. It is situated 5 km. on the west coast of Marbella. Ronda is the most spectacular and romantic old Spanish mountain city on the north of the Marbella. It is named as the most dreamed and romantic city on the Andalucía region and the city of poets, writers and painters. Mijas is a spectacular Andalucian mountain town worth visiting with its white washed houses, cultural identity, panoramic views and plenty of shopping opportunities. For a bit of historic scene, Las Murallas del Castillo is an excellent historic castle worth visiting in Costa del Sol. La Carihuela, Castillo de Gibralfaro and Alcazaba are among the other important historical landmarks in Costa del Sol.

Weather in Costa del Sol
Costa del Sol has a wonderful weather with mild winters and hot summers. It has about 330 days of sunshine a year. It provides a nice holiday relaxation in Spring and Autumn too. Even in the coldest month in January, the daytime temperature doesn't drop below to 16°C. During summer, sun shines about 11 hours a day and the region is cooled by the breeze blow from the sea. The average temperature of July and August is 30°C and doesn't drop below 22°C even in the nights.
